United States onlyReporting to the Head of Engineering, this Lead DevOps Engineer will take the lead and manage workstreams for other DevOps team members towards building a secure, stable, and observable infrastructure. The ideal candidate will be highly organized and have a great sense of prioritization. The ideal candidate has worked on crypto infrastructure projects and has a good sense of what it takes to deliver them over a significant time period. We welcome candidates who have a strong interest in security in addition to DevOps.
Qualifications
- 8+ years as a DevOps engineer in startup environment
- Experience with AWS, GCP, k8s, terraform, prometheus
- Experience with security engineering or knowledge of best practices
- Experience with blockchain infrastructure is required
Responsibilities
- Lead a small team of DevOps Engineers
- Manage DevOps prioritization and infrastructure design
- Implement monitoring/alerting
- Oversee CI/CD implementation
- On-call during USA work hours, with EOD handoff to Asia team
- Establish security practices for devices, cloud infrastructure, and services
- Ensure global access control
- Implement secure onboarding/offboarding
