THE ROLE

We're looking for a Senior Content Designer to work remotely, for a period of six to nine months. This is an opportunity to lead projects that require communication and messaging skills as well as design and user research experience. You'll get to work alongside a team of brilliant designers, researchers and consultants on projects for some of the best companies in the world.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

As a Senior Content Designer, you'll split your time between:

•User Research — you'll be responsible for finding out what users need. You'll conduct usability tests, diary studies or whichever research technique you decide is appropriate. You also need to ensure that user research makes a real difference in the rest of the project.

•Content Design — you'll define user flows, and work on messaging strategy across multiple channels to deliver big results for our clients.

You’ll co-create strategies, content and designs with our clients, and be responsible for communicating the outputs in specification to the rest of the project team.

•Copy Creation — you’ll edit, craft and generate content to match user requirements. This may include: UI copy, like labelling, help messages, errors, tool tips, acquisition messaging and more. Some projects may require longer form content creation.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO THE TEAM

We’re looking for Senior Content Designers (contractors) who can:

• Use analytics and other research techniques to evaluate content and design to identify user experience issues
• Research and create realistic and coherent content strategies
• Present research findings readily understandable manner to non-experts
• Create high quality research/delivery artefacts, e.g. content inventory, personas
• Make web content readable and understandable to a high standard, e.g. via plain language
• Make web content findable to a high standard, e.g. labelling, IA, navigation
• Make web tasks actionable to a high standard, e.g. via interaction design

· Plan and run discovery workshops

· Produce clear activity and delivery roadmaps
