Sri Lanka onlyWorking within our Infrastructure Services team, this role is responsible for supporting a number of fast-paced customers running Kubernetes on AWS cloud infrastructure to ensure their systems are robust, scalable, and efficient.
Responsibilities:
- Specific:
- Working independently and also under guidance to support customers in line with scoped projects and managed services agreements to:
- Design, implement, and manage Kubernetes clusters on AWS
- Automate deployment, monitoring, and management of applications in a cloud environment
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure seamless integration and continuous delivery
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize infrastructure
- Implement security best practices and ensure compliance with industry standards
- Develop and maintain infrastructure as code using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation
- Provide technical support and guidance to clients, ensuring their needs are met promptly and effectively
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve our services
- Deploy updates and fixes, and provide Level 2 technical support
- Build tools to reduce occurrence of errors and improve customer experience
- Perform root cause analysis of production errors and resolve technical issues
- General:

To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Required Skills Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, or relevant field
- Experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar software engineering role
- Proficiency with Git and GitHub workflows
- Good knowledge of Terraform and/or CloudFormation
- Working knowledge of databases and SQL
- Problem-solving attitude
- Collaborative team spirit
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work comfortably in fast-paced environments
- A self-starter
