Join Dexcom’s Mobile Apps V&V team, where innovation meets impact. We’re a passionate group of engineers dedicated to ensuring the quality and reliability of Dexcom’s mobile applications that support life-changing diabetes technology. As we continue to scale, we’re looking for a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced, agile environment and is excited to drive technical excellence, mentor talent, and shape the future of mobile test engineering.
Where you come in:
- You lead the mobile test automation strategy and execution for cloud-native mobile components.
- You provide technical direction and mentorship to a team of test engineers, guiding both test case and test framework development.
- You identify software project risks and define test strategies to ensure robust coverage and mitigation.
- You champion innovation and continuous improvement in test engineering practices across the organization.
- You stay hands-on with technical design, coding, and execution to lead by example.
- You drive adoption and proficiency in tools for test management, requirements tracking, and engineering analysis.
- You bring expertise in continuous delivery and trunk-based development to streamline release cycles.
- You collaborate cross-functionally with development, product, and quality teams to align on goals and deliverables.
What makes you successful:
- You have a proven track record in leading test automation efforts, including modular test design, complex framework architecture, and integration of in-house and third-party tools.
- You are proficient in at least one major programming language such as Kotlin, Swift, Python, or Java.
- You have hands-on experience with mobile testing frameworks like Espresso, XCUITest, and Appium.
- You demonstrate a high level of diligence in coding, debugging, documentation, and quality assurance.
- You bring experience with CI/CD pipelines and a deep understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
- You thrive in a fast-paced, agile environment and are passionate about mentoring and growing engineering talent.
- You possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate technical concepts and strategies.
