What we need

  • Proven sales superstar who consistently surpasses quota by over 100%.
  • Must have experience selling SaaS-based technology in the food and beverage software/tech or insights sector.
  • Exceptional strategic and creative thinking abilities to understand industry and customer trends, and apply insights for driving business results.
  • Keen discovery skills to prospect, engage, and close deals in a fast-paced environment.
  • Capable of approaching problems with rigorous quantitative and strategic analysis, offering customized solutions for mid-market and enterprise customers.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a drive to expand the business; confidently manage multiple decision makers in the sales process using a consultative approach.

What you will do

  • Dazzle us with your ability to showcase the immense value of Datassential through a consultative and results-driven sales process.
  • Elevate your sales game by building strong relationships with key decision makers in target accounts, ultimately securing new business and driving overall client revenue to new heights.
  • Identify, prioritize, and diligently track progress towards key account metrics and your annual sales quota.
  • Showcase your expertise in establishing smart goals for your biggest opportunities, and demonstrate your track record of successfully executing them.
  • Stay ahead of the curve by staying up-to-date on our clients' business, industry, objectives, and challenges, so you can become a trusted advisor and provide invaluable thought leadership.
  • Collaborate seamlessly with our internal teams to leverage resources and ensure smooth execution throughout the entire sales cycle, engaging with sales engineering, program management, customer care, and product management.
  • Confidently present our exceptional offerings to a diverse audience, including C-level executives and executive sponsors, both in-person and remotely.

Requirements

  • Exciting opportunity for a sales professional with 5-10 years of experience in the food service or foodservice insights space.
  • You must have a track record of success in achieving yearly sales quotas, especially in acquiring new clients.
  • Prior experience in the SaaS industry is a plus.
  • A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is required.
  • You should possess the ability to collaborate effectively with various departments within the company.
  • Excellent skills in communicating with customers and forging strong relationships.
