As the Senior Social Media Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing CrossFit’s social media strategy. You will oversee CrossFit's social media presence, driving engagement, and developing innovative campaigns to enhance the brand. RESPONSIBILITIES: ● Social Media Strategy:○ Develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy aligned with the overall marketing objectives and brand goals.○ Lead the development of integrated social media campaigns that drive brand awareness, engagement, and conversion.○ Stay updated on evolving industry trends and emerging social media platforms to keep the company at the forefront of innovation.● Content Development & Management○ Oversee the creation of compelling and on-brand content for various social media platforms.○ Collaborate across teams to ensure consistent messaging and brand representation across all social channels.○ Utilize data and analytics to optimize content performance and adjust strategies as needed.● Community Engagement○ Foster a strong and engaged community across social media platforms, responding to comments, messages, and mentions promptly and positively.○ Implement strategies to encourage user-generated content and community participation.● Analytics & Reporting○ Utilize analytics tools to measure the performance of social media campaigns and provide detailed reports to key stakeholders.○ Identify key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement strategies to improve social media metrics continuously.● Collaboration & Cross-Functional Engagement:○ Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, content creation, and product development, to ensure social media strategies align with overall business objectives.○ Work closely with influencers and partners to amplify the brand's reach and impact. KNOWLEDGE, AND SKILL:● Proven leadership and ability to establish and maintain a positive work culture among a team with the ability to effectively communicate to both large and small workgroups.● Strong understanding of social media platforms, trends, and best practices.● Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing successful social media campaigns.● Ability to be an effective decision-maker in high-pressure situations● Experience with CMS platforms (e.g. Iconik, Google Drive), and SMM platforms (e.g. Sprinklr, Khoros, Later).● Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights.● Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.● The discipline, flexibility, and self-starter mentality required to work as part of a high-performing, distributed team EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:● Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus.● Proven experience (8 years) in social media management, preferably within the sports or health and fitness industry.
