What are we looking for?
Skills Required:
- 2 to 10 years’ experience in international waste trading business: procurement department from paper mills, shipping department from paper mills handling import of waste, current employee from waste import/export companies.
- Solid working experience in logistic: international ocean freight, local trucking logistic. Professional level on shipping and LC documents.
- Preference will be given to candidate who has good knowledge on various grades of wastepaper and plastics.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills in English.
- This is a trade position which requires someone with quick response and decisive character.
- University degree.
What will you do?
- Maintain regular communication with suppliers in US/Europe to find out availability of different grades of materials
- Maintain regular communication with buyers in India, Vietnam, Malaysia, Thailand to find out current demand and price level on various grades of materials
- Checking ocean freight and logistic cost between loading locations (ex work, FAS) from suppliers and buyer's destination (CIF ports in Asia/India)
- Price and terms negotiations with suppliers and buyers to match and complete orders.
- Follow through on logistic, shipping booking, sales order and payment (LC/DP/TT) confirmation.
- Advise buyers on delivery and shipment schedule, facilitate information update with buyers when changes happened during shipment transition.
- Handling after sales quality claims with buyer after shipment arrived
