Responsibilities
- Assist in creating purchase orders and managing purchase requisitions
- Ensure delivery of goods and services in accordance with user requirements and delivery schedules
- Communicate with vendors to resolve any discrepancies in billing or orders
- Maintain accurate records of purchases and pricing information
- Assist in developing and maintaining inventory management systems
- Evaluate supplier performance and recommend improvements
- Support departmental efforts in cost reduction and process improvement initiatives
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or any relevant field
- At least 2 years of relevant work experience preferably in a related industry
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office applications, particularly in Excel and Word
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Knowledgeable in procurement processes and inventory management systems.
