Job Summary:
Provides direct oversight of the student interns selected from University partners across the country for a MSW field placement at Concert Health. This position serves as a bridge from clinician development to clinical excellence through the intern’s journey at Concert Health to potential employment. This position is responsible for overseeing the journey of an intern from candidate selection through direct supervision ensuring skill attainment through competency based education. This position is responsible for collaborating with the University to ensure all educational requirements are met.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise 20+ students from multiple universities.
- Complete and maintain Field Instructor Certification (SIFI).
- Meet other university requirements of a field instructor and maintain good standing with the field office.
- Provide clinical and administrative supervision to students
- Coordinate and complete virtual site visits with field liaisons from each university, averages 3 visits per placement year, per student.
- Provide group supervision of students as necessary
- Complete all required forms, logs, process recordings, performance reports and evaluations.
- Manage the electronic field management systems utilized for each student’s learning contracts and documents.
- Develop, support and monitor the student’s required learning contract and activities associated with the 9 competencies dictated by CSWE.
- Manage student field calendars to assess when students will be on breaks, need patient coverage, closing or transitioning care and coordinate with Clinical Excellence and Clinical Operations Managers.
- Collaborate with the Learning and Development team on necessary student skill attainment and mitigation of any gaps in skills, learning and practice.
- Evaluate and assess when a student has completed training, has built foundational clinical skills and is ready to be assigned responsibilities.
- Manage candidate selection process for interns including recruitment, interview, and selection.
- Partner with universities across the country to recruit students for internship
- Support the intern pathway to employment.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) or related field.
- LCSW certification required; SIFI certification preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in social work practice and supervision.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Experience in program development and coordination is a plus.

Salary Range: $75,000 - $85,000
