Implementation Specialist
Location: US/Canada Remote

The Business:
Constellation Dealership Software companies, Ideal, c-Systems and Charter, have developed the largest database of dealership transactional sales, inventory position and task completion information in the Outdoor Power Equipment (OPE) market. This role will be working within Ideal Software.
Mission:
The Implementation Specialist is responsible to ensure the successful implementation of software solutions for our dealer customers. This specialist serves as the primary point of contact for all aspects of customer onboarding, configuration, and deployment, and is empowered to directly engage with dealers, answer product-specific questions, and drive the implementation process from start to finish.
Responsibilities:
Dealer Engagement & Onboarding: Proactively contact dealers to facilitate the onboarding application process, ensuring all requirements—including underwriting and payment activation—are met for successful system go-live.
Implementation Ownership: Lead the configuration and deployment of software and payment solutions, teaching our configuration standards and best practices to ensure consistency and quality across all implementations.
Project Management & Coordination: Manage multiple concurrent implementation projects, tracking milestones, coordinating resources across teams, and ensuring timely completion of all implementation phases.
Product & Payment Expertise: Serve as the subject matter expert for product and payment-related inquiries, providing clear answers and guidance to dealers and internal teams throughout the implementation lifecycle.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner effectively with Sales, Support, Account Management, Product, and Payment teams to ensure seamless customer experiences and resolve implementation challenges.
Process Completion: Oversee the entire implementation journey from initial application through successful go-live, including the first successful transaction (batch) processed by the sponsor, and transition to ongoing support.
Qualifications:
In-depth knowledge of payment approval processes and procedures for onboarding, deployment, and implementation of merchant services products
Experience with application approval workflows, including underwriting and the steps leading to the first batch received by the sponsor
3-5 years of experience in software implementation, project coordination, or customer onboarding roles
Strong project management skills with ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously
Strong communication skills (written and verbal) to teach, support, and follow up with dealers and internal stakeholders
Proven ability to collaborate across departments and build effective working relationships with cross-functional teams
Service mindset, attention to detail, and persistence in driving implementations to completion
Ability to work autonomously in a remote environment while maintainingstrong team connections
Willingness and ability to travel as needed to support customers and resolve issues on-site
Experience considered an Asset:
Experience with dealer management systems or similar enterprise software
Background in the outdoor power equipment or similar dealership industry
Familiarity with Salesforce, Cloud Coach, or similar project management and CRM platforms
