Location: US (East Coast preferred – Remote)
Terms: 12-month Fixed Term (Potential to convert to Full-Time)

Compre is a fast-growing global specialty reinsurance company serving the Lloyd’s, European, and North American insurance markets.

We are seeking an experienced Ceded Reinsurance Integration Associate to support the onboarding and implementation of ceded reinsurance arrangements into Compre’s systems and operational processes.

This role will act as the subject matter expert for contract interpretation, data mapping, and ceded calculation configuration, ensuring complex reinsurance structures are accurately implemented, tested, and reconciled. The position plays a critical role in integrating newly acquired portfolios and ensuring ceded claims and reinstatement premium calculations are correctly configured prior to operational handover.

This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on reinsurance professional with strong technical and analytical expertise who enjoys working across contracts, systems, and data.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze complex reinsurance contracts and associated data files to identify key contractual terms, policy attributes, claims data, and calculation requirements for system configuration.
• Lead the implementation, testing, and reconciliation of ceded reinsurance calculations, including ceded claims and reinstatement premiums, ensuring accuracy prior to final sign-off.
• Act as the primary liaison between Compre and counterparties regarding data requirements, validation, and implementation activities.
• Develop and maintain standardized implementation processes, including data templates, validation checklists, and documentation to support consistent onboarding outcomes.
• Identify opportunities for system enhancements, process improvements, and operational efficiencies within reinsurance workflows.
• Support the wider reinsurance team in analyzing client data, troubleshooting integration issues, and validating system outputs.
• Provide regular progress updates to management and escalate issues where necessary.
• Assist with broader ceded reinsurance team deliverables, including statement processing, reporting, reconciliations, and audit support when required.

Skills Knowledge and Expertise

• 5+ years of experience in ceded reinsurance, reinsurance operations, or reinsurance systems implementation.
• Demonstrated experience interpreting reinsurance contracts and configuring ceded calculations, including claims and reinstatement premium calculations.
• Experience supporting or leading reinsurance onboarding, system integration, or portfolio migration projects.
• Strong ability to analyze complex contracts and translate requirements into system configurations and operational documentation.
• Excellent reconciliation and problem-solving skills, with the ability to investigate and resolve discrepancies in ceded calculations and data.
• Experience working with reinsurance administration systems (Cenata or similar platforms preferred).
• Ability to design, document, and improve operational processes, identifying opportunities for automation and system enhancement.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to work cross-functionally with internal teams and external partners.
