We're looking for a mission-driven Apprentice, Partnerships who is passionate about creating more accessible, inclusive, and equitable communities across Canada where people with low vision have unlimited opportunities and can experience life free from barriers and discrimination.

Your Impact at CNIB

  • Sound Research and Resourcefulness to identify, engage and cultivate organizations and individuals within targeted Industries and mission alignment.
  • Data Merge and/or Maintenance within CRM (Salesforce).
  • Ensure timely set up and follow-up activities to continue the cultivation of collaboration partners.
  • Always utilize CNIB’s best practices, data governance, Privacy Guidelines and templates.
  • Ensure regular communication with the connected groups within CNIB.
  • Collaborate with Team Leads to ensure that staff are regularly submitting data into Salesforce and tracking progress of programs and participants.
  • Run reports and analyse data to support Partnerships Monthly and quarterly reporting.
  • Works directly with assigned vendor and/or partners to ensure best use of data sourcing, complimenting internet resource and LinkedIn Tools.
  • Effectively manage conflicting deadlines and competing priorities at a fast pace, while still producing high-quality work.

Requirements

Who you are:

Education and Certifications

  • Minimum High School education or equivalent experience.
  • Must be between the ages of 15 and 29 years of age.
  • Project Management certifications or designation is considered an asset.

Experience and Qualifications

  • Proven time management and organization skills; amenable to changing priorities, deadlines, and procedures.
  • Project coordination and outcome-based evaluation methods experience combined with strong attention to detail.
  • Advanced computer skills, with proficiency in MS Office software including Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
  • Proficiency/working knowledge of Salesforce an asset.
  • Excellent written and oral communications skills – English.
  • Diligent in obtaining all weekly/monthly/quarterly reporting inputs.
  • Professional attitude, results oriented, self-directed, and flexible.
  • Demonstrates mature and sensitive nature, as well as emotional and social stability when dealing with the needs of persons experiencing sight loss and other functional challenges.
  • Proven knowledge of existing programs and program providers to establish/re-establish working relationships is an asset.
  • Must be able to work independently.
  • Personal or professional experience relating to blindness and sight loss is considered an asset.
  • Personal or professional experience working with assistive technology and/or accessible environments is considered an asset.
