What you’ll be doing

The Credit Planning Coach - Imperial Service provides real time, client specific sales and credit structuring advice to Imperial Service, Private Wealth Management, and LSCC in a telephone-based advice center. We support all strategic objectives in Imperial Service National Office, while focusing on deepening client relationships, acquiring and retaining clients, and delivering on our purpose of making our client’s ambitions a reality.

At CIBC we enable the work environment most optimal for you to thrive in your role. You can effectively perform all work activities remotely, and will only be required to be on-site on an occasional basis.

How you’ll succeed

  • Sales Support- You provide guidance and expertise to our frontline on assessing client needs, product suitability, discussing sales strategies, product changes, how to use tools, how to negotiate, how to close sales, and how to cross-sell based on goals. Interacts with our frontline over the phone to assess client needs, discuss available options and assist with the application process. This may include interactions via video conferencing technology.

  • Product Knowledge and support – Increase frontline capabilities around product offers, sales processes and tools, delivered through telephony technology including webinars and reactive inbound calls. You create awareness of national and local marketing programs and assist with the successful introduction of new product launches.

  • Sales Strategy Development & Engagement with Market- You support competitive market strategies through sharing of competitive intelligence and industry knowledge. You provide solutions and information on location of relevant information to enhance learning and reduce multiple calls on the same subject. You champion positive CIBC client experience, behaviors and deepening of client relationships.
