About the Role:

Exciting news! With CloudTalk's successful completion of a €28m Series B investment round, our Finance team is expanding and looking for a Financial Controller!

As a Financial Controller at CloudTalk, you'll play a pivotal role in driving key projects and scaling our finance processes.

Here's what's in it for you:

• Lead monthly closing processes and precise financial reporting: closely cooperate with external accounting companies as well as the rest of the Finance team and other departments in Cloudtalk to deliver timely and accurate financial reporting of all our companies.

What you will work on:

• Ensure compliance with local regulatory requirements across multiple countries, guaranteeing precision and accuracy in financial reporting.
• Work closely on monthly reporting activities, including monthly P&L reporting of Cloudtalk companies.
• Participate in setting up and optimizing processes in the Finance team as we are growing and need to make sure that the accounting and financial reporting are in line with local regulatory requirements (Slovakia, Czech Republic, USA, Spain)
• Communicate with external accounting companies
• Review the correctness of financial accounting and reporting based on local regulations (mainly US GAAP and SK GAAP);
• Communicate with tax advisors, cooperating on maintaining transfer pricing strategy for the whole Group.
• Prepare for external audits and liaise with stakeholders, including advisors and investors.

What we are looking for:

• 2+ years of experience in a similar role.
• Proven track record of leading projects independently from end-to-end.
• Results-driven mindset with a strong ability to leverage data for driving change.
• Advanced knowledge of MS Excel/Google Sheets.
• Native or fluent Slovak or Czech, along with fluent English proficiency.
