Summary:

As Chief Product Officer (CPO) at Clio, you will shape and execute the product vision, strategy, and roadmap to drive innovation and growth. You will lead a high-performing team across product management and design, delivering cutting-edge solutions that enhance user engagement and scale our impact. The ideal candidate brings extensive experience with multi-product portfolios, scaling complex solutions, and navigating M&A activities. Experience or knowledge in AI is preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Reporting Structure:As a member of our Executive team reporting directly to the CEO, the CPO is responsible for the company’s full product vision and shares the responsibility to drive growth and revenue.

  • Growth Strategy:Define and execute the roadmap to achieve $1B ARR, identifying key growth levers and new areas of product development

  • Product Innovation: Spearhead the development of a scalable, unified platform to serve law firms of all sizes—from solo practitioners to mid-market customers—while integrating progressive principles.

  • Customer-Centric Approach:Deeply engage with customers to identify their needs and drive the creation of products that genuinely enhance their lives.

  • AI Expertise:Leverage artificial intelligence to power innovative solutions and stay ahead of market trends.

  • M&A Leadership:Lead M&A initiatives by identifying opportunities in fertile markets, managing acquisitions, and integrating acquired businesses to strengthen our portfolio.

  • Team Building:Upgrade and assess the current talent bench, recruit top-tier talent (including from prior networks), and foster a high-performing, innovative product organization.

  • Multi Product: This candidate is expected to have expansive experience in building multi-products.

  • 0-to-1 Product Development: Drive the journey from concept to launch for groundbreaking product ideas that position us as a leader in legal tech.

What We’re Looking For:

  • A proven leader who has navigated the complexity of scaling organizations and products at significant ARR milestones.

  • Experience in the SMB space, with a track record of developing solutions that scale across diverse customer needs.

  • Ability to think and operate at a strategic level while driving execution at a tactical level, with a willingness to roll up their sleeves.

  • Strong background in M&A, from identifying opportunities to successfully integrating businesses.

  • Deep understanding of AI-driven product innovation and its application in creating transformative customer experiences.

  • Strategic thinker with the ability to manage a multi-product portfolio and balance the needs of solo and mid-market customers.

  • A talent builder with a passion for recruiting, developing, and inspiring high-performing teams.

  • Visionary mindset coupled with hands-on experience in driving growth and product innovation.
