Climate Corps

Climate Corps, a fellowship program initiated by SEI, is dedicated to advancing sustainability solutions through collaboration with various organizations, ranging from non-profits to local governments. This innovative program recruits and places passionate climate professionals to implement impactful projects focused on climate change mitigation and community resilience. Since its inception in 2010, Climate Corps has successfully supported over 900 fellows, who have contributed to the implementation of climate initiatives across numerous sectors. The fellows gain invaluable real-world experience in sustainability project management, helping organizations meet their sustainability goals while also addressing urgent climate challenges.

The fellowship spans ten months and targets a diverse range of projects, including Strategic Energy Management and Corporate Sustainability, that offer measurable outcomes for greenhouse gas reduction. Through partnerships with organizations, Climate Corps fosters emerging climate leaders, empowering them to tackle pressing environmental issues while also meeting workforce demands in both public and private sectors. By engaging communities and leveraging local talents, Climate Corps plays a crucial role in cultivating a generation of climate leaders prepared to navigate and confront the complexities of climate crises head-on.
