Our journey started back in 2010 when we realized the texting options available to businesses and organizations were terrible - ugly, slow, and bloated with unnecessary features. So we decided to build something better: well-designed, fast, and intuitive software that people actually enjoy using.
What began as a general text messaging marketing platform evolved into something more meaningful. Around 2016, we noticed churches were among our happiest customers, and we found genuine satisfaction in serving the local church. We pivoted to focus exclusively on churches and nonprofits, and we haven't looked back. Today, over 9,000 churches use Clearstream to connect with their communities through mass texting, email, automated workflows, and thoughtful engagement tools. We're a hybrid team with headquarters in Pensacola, Florida, and we've raised $0 in venture capital - we're profitable, debt-free, and founder-owned, which means we can focus on building great products rather than chasing growth at all costs.
