Lifestores is looking to hire an HR manager who is analytical, data-driven, collaborative, friendly, well-organized, and self-motivated. The ideal candidate should care deeply about enabling people’s success & have experience managing key aspects of HR, including org chart planning, recruiting, performance management & reviews, promotions, team engagement, career planning, and staff exits.
What do you need to do to be considered successful?
You would lead all aspects of HR for Lifestores’ own stores & OGA pharmacy teams, including defining a recruitment plan for the next year to meet the company’s growth goals, hiring top-quality talent that upholds our high standard, ensuring high team morale, utilizing technology where possible to support the HR function, developing new policies, and maintaining a robust HR system. Your major responsibilities will be:
- Building and sustaining structuresthat drive organizational goals
- Workforce planning. Clearly anticipating talent needs and solving them well ahead of time.
- Supporting and serving as a liaison between employees and management
- Providing support to employees and managers in the handling of all human resource-related activities which may include: employee relations, fielding employee questions or concerns, communication and the interpretation of policies and procedures.
- Providing counsel to employees and management to maintain a productive and positive work environment, including development planning, coaching, etc.
- Recruitment and Selection- Design, enhance and implement an HR recruitment policy that guides the recruitment process and outcomes in a systematic way.
- Performance Management & Evaluation- Design and implement the best-suit performance measurement system using the Balanced Score Card(BSC) in line with the organizational strategic map and global organizational performance.
- Compensation and Benefits- Develop and implement a comprehensive compensation and benefits scheme for employee incentives in alignment with the organizational strategic map

What you need to have done in your Career
- Experience with Corporate Strategic Management and HR Strategic alignment
- Experience in HR at a high-growth technology start-up company
- Fundamental understanding of Human Resource Management and HR business partnering in a business.
- proficient in the use of MS Excel & Google Sheets.
- An ability to interact with employees and colleagues in a way that drives performance
- Strong practice of emotional intelligence that cuts across the chasm and builds relationships that foster the common good.
- Proven assertion in decision making regarding employee relations.
- Ability to generate timely, concise, and effective business correspondence both oral and written with high attention to detail.
