Capgemini is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Accounting Associate for a top 10 US Insurance Carrier.
This role includes reconciling SAP ledger and control accounts, researching out-of-balances, analyzing Investment Income Fluctuations, Explaining in Management reports, undertaking Ad Hoc Research, and assessing and explaining Ad Hoc requests. The Investment Reporting and Accounting team ensures accuracy, integrity, and transparency in the organization's investment activities.

Location: Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, or Mexico.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and regulations.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- 2+ years of financial reporting experience.
- Work schedule preferred: 8am to 5pm PST
- Excel - advanced
- Management Reporting - intermediate
- SAP - Intermediate (4-6 years)
Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using accounting software.
- Assist in preparing and analyzing financial statements and reports.
- Process accounts payable and receivable transactions.
- Perform account reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
- Assist with internal and external audits.
