Our flagship campus is in Sydney, Australia but we engage our Contractors and Freelancers all over the world to help us meet our crazy big goals. As a Contract or Freelancer at Canva, you can work fully remotely in the country outlined above, meaning you have ultimate flexibility. Wherever works for you, works for us.

What you’d be doing in this role

As a Senior Brand Designer, you’ll help our diverse range of enterprise clients see the value of Canva by showcasing their brand through white-gloved design templates which are showcased via design presentations called Capsules created and designed in Canva. Each capsule has a series of templates that are tailored during the prospecting phase.

There is also future potential to support Enterprise Studio on template builds across evergreen projects.

As Canva scales change continues to be part of our DNA. But we like to think that's all part of the fun. So this will give you the flavour of the type of things you'll be working on when you start, but this will likely evolve.

At the moment, this role is focused on:

• Working with a wide range of exciting global clients from different industries
• Crafting bespoke designs for their brand
• Working independently, thinking creatively and strategically when working on projects and making design suggestions
• Staying connected with the Enterprise Studio Art Director to plan projects 1 to 2 weeks in advance
• Maintaining exceptional quality of work and make sure all designs adhere to the clients brand guidelines
• Ensuring templates are ‘unbreakable’ before sending to client

You're probably a match if

• You have extensive and impactful experience as a Senior Designer, crafting a diverse range of designs
• You have a strong portfolio demonstrating your passion for designing clean, elegant, and impactful designs
• You can work collaboratively in a global creative team environment
• You've got impressive project and time management skills to effectively rally teams towards your goals
• You can execute strong design, branding and layout principles across various projects
• You take projects from concept to completion with a focus on layout and branding for social media, presentations, reports, websites, and videos among other collaterals
• You stay updated on design trends and emerging technologies
• You have an exceptional sense of grid structure and text hierarchy and the ability to adapt brand guidelines to multiple uses
• You initiate and lead design projects alongside their brand accounts
• You can work effectively in a fun fast-paced environment where you will collaborate with designers
• You have an affinity with UX design. It's not a must, but a great bonus!

About the team

Enterprise Studio is the Visual Design team dedicated to Canva's Enterprise customers. We set our customers up for success by bringing their brands into Canva with design proposals and commercially-ready brand templates and enhancing B2B marketing initiatives with creative collateral. Combining our team’s expertise in design craft, product knowledge, and industry best practices, we embody Canva's mission of enabling every organization to design.
