About The Role:
Are you a creative thinker with a passion for communication and great prose? Are you excited about decarbonizing the transportation industry globally through crafting educational content, social media strategies, virtual events with countries all over the world? CALSTART’s Drive to Zero team is looking for a dynamic marketing manager passionate about zero emissions to develop and execute marketing campaigns. In this role you will be responsible for overall campaign strategy, execution, evaluation, and optimization globally. You will be responsible for driving digital and content strategy through media, paid resources, email, webinars, and events. The ideal candidate will have experience of managing multiple high-profile projects simultaneously, in partnership with cross-functional teams developing messaging, storytelling, while streamlining processes. They will possess a successful track record of executing multi-channel campaigns that expand awareness, acquire and convert new signatories, and drive demand. Content strategy will be your passion.

What You'll Do:

  • Create and execute the marketing strategy for CALSTARTs global Drive To Zero program which includes but not limited to social, email, paid media, events, webinars
  • Responsible for the successful execution of 4 virtual events per year
  • Build graphics, flyers, short videos to help promote new country signatories to join the global MOU
  • Support ad-hoc marketing requests as needed
  • Support marketing campaigns for Truck and Off-Road initiative

What You'll Bring To The Table:

  • 6+ years of professional marketing experience
  • 6+ years of program related work
  • Experience with data analytics
  • Experience creating, executing, and scaling marketing campaigns from concept to completion across multiple media platforms and strategies
  • Loves teamwork and rolling up their sleeves to get the job done
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Bachelor degree

Desired Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree
  • Experience developing and executing campaigns across a many time zones and languages
  • Experience with customer segmentation, profiling and targeting
  • Mailchimp and/or Salesforce experience an added bonus
  • The ability to make things happen quickly
