Job Description
In this strategic research role, you’ll be at the intersection of sustainability and corporate intelligence, helping qualify and analyze potential partnerships with some of the world’s most influential companies. You’ll leverage advanced market intelligence tools to evaluate sustainability initiatives and carbon reduction strategies of major global enterprises. This position offers unique exposure to corporate sustainability practices while contributing to meaningful climate action. You’ll work with a sophisticated platform that provides market intelligence to industry leaders, ensuring that incoming inquiries are properly evaluated and routed for maximum impact.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive desk research on incoming leads using LinkedIn, corporate websites, and sustainability reports
- Analyze and evaluate company sustainability commitments and net-zero targets
- Maintain and update detailed records in Hubspot CRM, ensuring accurate data categorization
- Process and qualify platform inquiries from potential corporate partners and project developers
- Execute thorough company research using specialized tools including Apollo platform
- Apply established qualification criteria to route opportunities to appropriate teams
- Document research findings and maintain organized intelligence records
- Support the business development team with strategic lead qualification
Requirements
- 2-3 years experience in research, data analysis, or related fields
- Demonstrated ability to conduct thorough desk research and information synthesis
- Strong proficiency with CRM systems, particularly Hubspot
- Excellent attention to detail and data accuracy
- Advanced English writing and documentation skills
- Self-motivated with ability to work independently
- Experience with LinkedIn and web-based research tools
- Willingness to learn specialized industry platforms and tools
- Ability to maintain consistent schedule during UK business hours
- Interest in sustainability and environmental markets is a plus
