Job Description
We’re seeking a detail-oriented Property Management Assistant to join our dynamic team in a role that combines administrative excellence with real estate operations. You’ll be at the center of our digital transformation, managing our modern property management platforms while ensuring smooth day-to-day operations. This position offers extensive growth potential as you’ll gain comprehensive experience in property management, from financial operations to tenant relations. You’ll work with our suite of digital tools to streamline processes, coordinate with maintenance teams, and ensure exceptional service delivery to our diverse tenant base.

Responsibilities
  • Manage and process financial transactions including rent payments, maintenance expenses, and vendor invoices
  • Handle electronic lease preparation, distribution, and execution using modern property management software
  • Coordinate maintenance requests between tenants and specialized contractors, ensuring timely resolution
  • Process and categorize payments from multiple sources including federal housing programs and digital payment platforms
  • Maintain accurate financial records and perform regular data entry in property management systems
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for tenant maintenance requests and general inquiries
  • Coordinate with various service providers including plumbers, HVAC technicians, and maintenance contractors
  • Monitor and update property management software (Stessa.com and RentRed) to ensure accurate record-keeping
  • Assist in streamlining and improving operational processes
  • Generate and maintain various property management reports

Requirements

  • Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail
  • Excellent data entry and basic bookkeeping capabilities
  • Professional communication skills in English (written and verbal)
  • Comfort with learning and using multiple software platforms
  • Experience with property management software preferred (Stessa.com and RentRed experience a plus)
  • Background in real estate, property management, or customer service preferred
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong problem-solving skills and proactive attitude
  • Reliable internet connection and home office setup
  • Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and professional standards
