Overview

Responsible for in-home residential sales, and consultation with our customers, ensuring the customer has the best solution to live safely and comfortably in their home. The successful individual will be responsible for leading the sales consultations and ensuring superior client satisfaction. Sales appointments will be provided by our business development team—no cold calling required. After completing the home assessment and consultation, the Field Sales Representative presents quote and once approved, moves forward with scheduling the installation. The service area for this role is Long Island including Queens. Requires driving to customer locations on a weekly basis. Deliver on territory sales plan and work toward individual and team goals

Responsibilities

  • Experience with residential selling using consultative skills for in-home installations
  • Lead sales consultations and ensure complete client satisfaction
  • Learn and demonstrate a fundamental understanding of products and applications
  • Analyze sales effectiveness to recommend improvements
  • Maintain customer interaction records
  • Entrepreneurial spirit: independent, self-motivated to succeed
  • Strong customer focus: personable, observational, and intuitive
  • Effective communication skills; written and oral

Qualifications

Education and Experience:

  • Associates or bachelor’s degree preferred in Sales, Business or technical field, or equivalent work experience doing residential sales, (in-home selling with a track record of success).

Skills and Abilities:

  • Read, analyze, and interpret a variety of information, such as technical procedures, business correspondence, and governmental regulations furnished in written, oral or diagram form.
  • Create business-level written correspondence and verbally present information to internal and external customers.

Working Conditions/Physical Demands:

  • Home Office
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, kneel, use hands to finger, handle, and touch; talk, hear, move around, and climb stairs
  • Ability to operate a motor vehicle
  • Ability to lift 50 - 75 pounds rarely, with assistance
  • Able to travel to customer locations - valid driver’s license required.
