Disability insurance
Pride provides a short-term disability plan for all full-time regular employees. Benefits range from 30% - 80% income replacement depending on length of employment. Employees are able to purchase long-term disability insurance at group insurance rates.
AD&D insurance
Pride provides each full-time regular employee with basic accidental death and dismemberment (AD&D) insurance in the amount of $20,000. Employees have the option to purchase additional AD&D insurance above the basic insurance amounts at group insurance rates. Family AD&D coverage may also be purchased.
Retirement benefits
Pride offers a 401(k) plan to allow full-time/part-time regular employees to save for retirement with pre-tax dollars. Employees can contribute from 1%-99% of their salary. Pride offers a company match of 50% on the first 2% of your contribution and 25% company match on the next 3-6% of your contribution.
Life insurance
Pride provides each full-time regular employee with basic term life insurance in the amount of $20,000. Employees have the option to purchase additional life insurance above the basic insurance amounts at group insurance rates. Spouse term life insurance and dependent child term life insurance may also be purchased.
Paid vacation
Vacations are important, not only to the employee, but also to Pride. The company considers it wise and necessary to completely depart from the work environment periodically. Full-time regular employees receive paid vacation January 1 of each year as follows: 1 year - prorated based on date of hire, 2-4 years - 80 hours, 5+ years - 120 hours.
Equity benefits
Pride offers full-time/part-time regular employees an Employee Stock Ownership Retirement Plan (ESOP). Employees are allocated shares of company stock annually based on plan provisions. Vesting is based on years of service, which is defined as a calendar year in which you work at least 1,000 hours. Partial vesting starts at 2 years of service, with full vesting after 5 years of service.
Learning and development budget
Pride's Tuition Reimbursement Program is designed to repay a portion of the tuition that is incurred when employees successfully complete pre-approved course work which is directly related to their current job assignment and is completed outside the normally scheduled work hours. As an incentive, Pride will repay up to 75% of the cost of the tuition, depending on the employee's final grade.
