Brown & Brown is seeking an AI & Data Architect to join our growing team!

The AI & Data Integration Architect will design and implement enterprise-grade integration solutions that connect data platforms, AI models, and business applications. This role ensures seamless interoperability between data pipelines, AI services, and operational systems, enabling scalable and secure AI-driven insights across the organization.

How You Will Contribute:

  • Solution Architecture and Design

  • Define integration strategies for connecting AI models, data warehouses, and business applications.

  • Develop architectural blueprints for modular, API-driven, and event-based integrations.

  • Ensure compliance with enterprise security, governance, and performance standards.

Data and AI Integration

  • Design workflows for ingesting, transforming, and serving data to AI models.

  • Implement integration patterns for real-time and batch AI inference.

  • Optimize data pipelines for latency, throughput, and cost efficiency.

Technology Leadership

  • Evaluate and recommend integration tools and platforms (e.g., Azure Data Factory, Databricks, API Gateways).

  • Establish best practices for AI model deployment and monitoring within integrated environments.

  • Drive adoption of MLOps and DataOps principles across teams.

Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement

  • Partner with data engineers, ML engineers, and business analysts to align integration solutions with business needs.

  • Communicate architectural decisions and trade-offs to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

  • Provide technical guidance to development teams during implementation.

Governance and Compliance

  • Ensure integrations adhere to data privacy, security, and regulatory requirements.

  • Implement monitoring and alerting for integration health and AI model performance.

Skills and Experience to be Successful:

  • 7+ years in solution architecture or integration engineering roles.

  • Strong experience with data integration platforms and cloud services (Azure, AWS, GCP).

  • Hands-on expertise in APIs, event-driven architectures, and ETL/ELT pipelines.

  • Familiarity with AI/ML frameworks and deployment practices.

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or related field. preferred

  • Certifications in cloud architecture (Azure Solutions Architect, AWS Certified Architect). preferred

  • Experience with MLOps tools (MLflow, Kubeflow) and container orchestration (Kubernetes). preferred

Pay Range

$140,000 - $160,000 Annual

The pay range provided above is made in good faith and based on our lowest and highest annual salary or hourly rate paid for the role and takes into account years of experience required, geography, and/or budget for the role.
