About the Role: Join our client, a leading insurance player in the Philippines, as a Scrum Master based in Manila. As a Scrum Master, you will play a crucial role in facilitating Agile development processes and ensuring the successful delivery of projects within the organization. Responsibilities:

• Serve as a Scrum Master for Agile development teams, fostering collaboration, communication, and continuous improvement.
• Facilitate daily stand-up meetings, sprint planning, sprint review, and retrospective meetings to ensure effective team coordination.
• Coach and guide the Agile team in adopting Agile principles, practices, and methodologies.
• Collaborate with product owners, stakeholders, and development teams to define and prioritize product backlogs and user stories.
• Remove impediments that hinder the team's progress and escalate issues as necessary for timely resolution.
• Promote a culture of transparency, trust, and accountability within the team and organization.
• Track and report project progress, metrics, and KPIs to stakeholders and management.
• Foster a continuous learning environment and encourage Agile best practices and self-improvement.
• Facilitate effective communication and collaboration between the development team and external stakeholders.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance team efficiency, productivity, and delivery quality.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent certification preferred.
• Proven experience as a Scrum Master, facilitating Agile development processes and leading software development teams.
• Strong knowledge of Agile frameworks and methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, Lean).
• Experience coaching teams in Agile best practices and principles.
• Excellent facilitation and communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities.
• Proficiency in Agile project management tools and software.
• Familiarity with software development lifecycle (SDLC) processes.
• Experience in the financial services industry is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills, fluent in English.
