Workday Finance Platform Engineer
Your Mission
We are looking for a Workday Platform Engineer to join the Software Integration team. The Software Integration team’s mission is to explore, integrate and maintain best-in-class external softwares, that enable the internal teams to fulfill their mission with efficiency, productivity, and comfort. Your role will be to design, develop, maintain and scale our Workday Platform as a core asset of our Finance internal stack. The scope includes the following Workday modules : Core Financials / Projects / Expenses / Procurement. Working closely with Finance, Engineering and Business teams, this is an excellent opportunity for hands-on exposure to Product & Tech challenges at one of France's fastest-growing scale-up.
Your Responsibilities
• Work with our stakeholders (Finance, FP&A, Legal, HR) to refine business needs, challenge implementation and define ETAs alongside with the Engineering Manager and other Workday Platform Engineers• Watch, design, develop, test and maintain business features with qualitative UX for maximum usage, reliability and scalability• Collaborate with team members throughout rituals such as stand-up meetings, sprint plannings and much more• Participate actively in defining setup and deployment process best practices to better support our growing footprint and scale accordingly• Develop and maintain integrations with third-party systems through our low-code integration platform Workato, for which you will receive a dedicated training
Your Qualifications
• You are a Workday Finance certified professional, with 5+ years experience working with ERP solutions and 3+ years of Workday Finance administration hands-on experience with Finance modules• You are experienced in managing critical Workday projects, with a high level of autonomy in the prioritization process• You get strong interest in following Workday roadmap and experimenting new trends and products• You are organized and rigorous following best practices regarding setup quality, clean architecture, testing, documentation ...• You have excellent communication skills with various levels of stakeholders •You are able to translate technical information into non-technical terms, clearly explaining design options and their potential impact (Pros & Cons)• You embrace change, are able to take a step back, prioritize, and focus on added-value tasks• Fluency in English
