What are we looking for?

We are seeking a visionary and highly analytical Vice President of Performance Marketing to lead and scale our growth initiatives globally. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in data-driven marketing, exceptional leadership skills, and a strong understanding of the mental health landscape. This role requires a strategic thinker with a bias towards action who can balance short-term acquisition goals with long-term growth, all while navigating the unique regulatory and cultural nuances of global markets.

What will you do?

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive global performance marketing strategy to drive customer acquisition and activation across multiple markets.
  • Oversee all paid media efforts including search, social, tv, audio, programmatic, affiliate, influencer partnerships, and emerging channels.
  • Optimize customer acquisition costs (CAC), lifetime value (LTV), and return on ad spend (ROAS) across geographies.
  • Lead the development and execution of A/B testing frameworks, creative performance analysis, and funnel optimization strategies.
  • Build and manage a high-performing, diverse team of growth marketers, media buyers, analysts, and external agencies.
  • Partner cross-functionally with product, brand, data science, and engineering teams to ensure cohesive and efficient customer journeys.
  • Develop robust attribution models and leverage advanced analytics to inform decision-making and budget allocation.
  • Stay current on international regulations, privacy laws, and market-specific trends to ensure compliance and effectiveness.
  • Provide regular reporting and insights to executive leadership on marketing performance, KPIs, and growth opportunities.

What will you NOT do?

  • You will NOT worry about "runway", "cash left", or "how much time we have until the next round". We have the startup DNA but we're fully backed and funded, all the way to success.
  • You will NOT be confined to your "job". You will get involved in product, marketing, business strategy, and almost everything we do.
  • You will NOT be bogged down by office politics, ego, or bad attitude. Only positive, pleasure-to-work-with people are allowed here!
  • You will NOT get yourself burned out. We work hard but we believe in maintaining a sustainable work/life balance. Really.

Can I work remotely?

Yes. We operate on PST and candidates in any time zone are welcome to apply. We ask employees to travel to our Mountain View, CA office up to three times per year plus one company-wide offsite to collaborate in person and strengthen working relationships. Travel expenses are covered and reasonable accommodations are made for those under unique circumstances who cannot travel.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
  • 12+ years of experience in performance marketing, growth marketing, or related leadership roles, preferably in DTC or digital health industries.
  • Proven success in scaling marketing programs internationally with a strong focus on ROI and market adaptability.
  • Deep understanding of digital marketing channels, tools, analytics platforms, and attribution methodologies.
  • Proven track record partnering with cross-functional teams to drive business results.
  • Exceptional leadership skills with a track record of building and mentoring high-performing teams.
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable strategies.
  • Experience managing large (8-9 figure) marketing budgets across diverse regions.
  • Knowledge of mental health, healthcare, or regulated industries is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with a global and culturally sensitive perspective.
