You are…

We’re looking for a Payroll Manager who can ensure accurate and efficient payroll processing for our North American team. If you're detail-oriented, enjoy collaborating with different teams, and are passionate about providing excellent service to our employees, we'd love to hear from you.

You will...

  • Manage payroll processing: Oversee bi-weekly payroll cycles for North America (US and Canada), ensuring everything runs smoothly and accurately.

  • Annual bonus process: Collaborate with our People Operations team to refine and manage the bonus payments process, ensuring everyone is rewarded fairly.

  • Benefits guidance: Lead engaging benefits overview sessions for new hires, becoming their trusted advisor for any benefits-related questions.

  • Financial summaries: Compile clear and concise summaries of earnings, taxes, deductions, leave, disability, and non-taxable wages.

  • Conduct audits: Manage various audits, including IRS, DOL, 401(k) plan, and internal audits. Perform quarterly 940/941 audits and prepare essential government filings.

  • Benefits renewal: Oversee the annual benefits renewal process, negotiating the best rates and securing top-notch plan designs for our team.

  • Open Enrollment: Take charge of the Annual Open Enrollment process, ensuring a seamless experience for everyone.

  • HRIS accuracy: Regularly review HRIS info in ADP to ensure 100% accuracy for new hires, terminations, and promotions.

  • Resolve payroll issues: Address any payroll issues promptly to build trust and keep our employees satisfied.

  • Execute procedures: Ensure precise execution of payroll and benefits procedures for clarity and efficiency.

  • Vendor partnerships: Partner with benefit brokers and vendors to review programs, ensuring compliance and maintaining a competitive edge.

Requirements

You have...

  • Experience: Minimum of 7 years of experience in payroll management, preferably with multi-state payroll processing. Big plus if you have worked with a Canadian team.

  • Technical Skills: Proficiency with payroll software (we use ADP) and HRIS systems.

  • Knowledge: Strong understanding of federal and state payroll regulations, tax laws, and compliance requirements.

  • Interpersonal Skills: Ability to work collaboratively with various teams and build positive relationships with employees and external partners.

  • Confidentiality: Ability to handle sensitive information with the utmost confidentiality and integrity.

  • Certification: Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) or similar certification is preferred.
