Associate Data QA Engineer - Flutter UK&I, Hybrid & Remote

The Role

We are looking for a dedicated, self-motivated, Associate QA Data Engineer to join our great team of engineers in building high-end, high quality applications.

You will have the opportunity to work in an agile environment where you will team up with colleagues having experience in Data Warehouse, Machine Learning and more.

The successful candidate should have technical and problem solving skills, a positive and results driven attitude, a good communicator who can interact with both technical and non-technical people

Key Responsibilities / Duties:

• Functional Testing of Data Integration & Reporting solutions.
• E2E testing - From source data stores through to reports, including test data set up.
• Interact with the Product Owner to ensure suitable understanding of requirements.
• Own defect management lifecycle.
• Follow Test Driven Development practices.
• Follow Environments best practices.

Experience & Qualifications:

Essential:

• Background in functional testing with the ability to plan, design and execute test cases.
• Proven diagnostic and debugging skills.
• Understands Data, Data Integration, Data Warehouse & Business Intelligence.
• Knowledge of database technologies like Oracle, MySQL, MS SQL, Redshift or other.
• Knowledge in writing SQL.
• Problem solving skills.

Desirable:

• Exposure to Test Automation.
• Experience with data processing (ETL/ELT).
• Experience of Agile software development practices.
• Experience of Hands On testing in the data space is a plus.
