The Role:
As an Assistant Web Designer, you will play a crucial role in the conceptualization, design, and implementation of websites for our clients. You will be responsible for creating visually appealing, user-friendly, and responsive websites that align with our clients' brand identities and objectives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in web design, with proficiency in WordPress, plug-in customization, and domain management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with clients and internal teams to understand project requirements and objectives.
- Design and develop custom WordPress websites from concept to completion, ensuring high-quality, visually appealing, and user-friendly designs.
- Customize and implement WordPress themes, templates, and plug-ins to meet project requirements.
- Conduct thorough testing and troubleshooting to ensure websites are optimized for performance, responsiveness, and cross-browser compatibility.
- Manage domain registration, DNS configuration, and website hosting for clients.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, technologies, and best practices in web design and WordPress development.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Web Designer, with a strong portfolio showcasing your work.
- Proficiency in WordPress development, including theme customization, plug-in configuration, and content management.
- Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other web design technologies.
- Experience with graphic design tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, or Sketch.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to translate client requirements into visually appealing designs.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Familiarity with SEO principles and best practices is a plus.
System and Work Setup Requirements:
- A stable and high-speed internet connection preferably 25 MBPS or higher with back up in cases of power interruption or service provider issues
- Own PC/laptop with 8GB RAM, and a processor of Core i3 / AMD Ryzen 3 / 2013 Mac equivalent or higher; Windows 10 or above / Catalina 10.15 or newer; with up-to-date web browsers and security software, 500GB/128 SSD storage
- Headset/earphone with noise cancellation and webcam at 720p or higher resolution
- A designated, quiet, and well-organized workspace free from distractions to facilitate focused work
