The Integrated Solutions Applications Engineer performs all the well engineering activities within a project or Center of Excellence according to guidelines and processes set out in the IS Management System, international and/or local standards and regulations and customer requirements.

Make an impact

The Integrated Applications Engineer provides technical input to the well construction, completions, well intervention and abandonment phases, from the concept and tendering stage through project commencement, execution and project close out. During tendering phases, in addition to engineering work, the engineer will be supporting the commercial and procurement teams. The Integrated Applications Engineer ensures the well design and required calculations are prepared and supplied to the execution team.

Our integrated Applications Engineer is also responsible for:

  • Preparing well design, modeling and analysis of various drilling/cleanout/intervention strings using engineering software

  • Analysing of and recommendations to optimise workstrings and bottomhole assemblies of various types.

  • Addressing and confirming technical interfaces across multiple product line technical proposals are cohesive to ensure a total systems approach is maintained t

  • Communicating effectively with project stakeholders as needed and make recommendations to drive flawless service delivery and operational excellence as per approved plans.

  • Monitoring technical and operations KPIs and benchmark against offset well data and pre-defined well objectives.

  • Preparing all technical reports related to the project including End of Well Report, after action reviews, lessons learned summary.

Fuel your passion

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Bachelor's degree preferably in Petroleum Engineering or Mechanical/Chemical Engineering with MS in Petroleum/Oil & Gas or Well Engineering.

  • Work experience in well construction, completions, intervention and/or optimization: the experience could include drill bits, BHA design, engineering simulations, field operations, preparation of programs/designs, or similar.

  • Interpersonal skills to work well with colleagues across all businesses/cultures, achieve objectives through effective influencing, and establish credibility with senior leaders.

  • Excellent analytics and problem-solving, including ability to form hypotheses and move forward in the absence of complete information.

  • Excellent English oral and written communication skills, including ability to synthesize complex topics into clear and simple messages.

  • MS office suite, power BI or other analytical tools, well engineering and design software (for example: hydraulics, torque and drag, basic casing design) such as JewelSuite Drilling Engineering and WellPlan
