We are seeking an experienced Product Owner – Order Management System (OMS) with strong OMS expertise to lead the development and transformation of a custom Order Management System supporting both B2C and B2B commerce.
Requirements
- Own and manage the OMS product backlog, roadmap, and feature prioritization
- Translate business requirements into detailed features, user stories, and acceptance criteria
- Drive end-to-end delivery for assigned PODs, ensuring timely execution and quality outcomes
- Partner with stakeholders to align product initiatives with business objectives
- Define and deliver core OMS capabilities including order capture, orchestration, inventory management, fulfillment, and returns
- Ensure product capabilities support both B2C and B2B commerce workflows
- Optimize order lifecycle processes for efficiency, scalability, and customer experience
- Analyze existing OMS implementations, workflows, and integrations
- Identify business rules, operational edge cases, and system dependencies
- Translate current-state processes into future-state product features, workflows, and scalable solutions
- Define quarterly product goals, milestones, and measurable outcomes
- Break down objectives into POD-level execution plans and sprint deliverables
- Ensure predictable feature delivery through disciplined planning and tracking
- Monitor progress, risks, and dependencies across delivery teams
- Work closely with engineering teams on API-first and microservices-based architecture
- Define and prioritize integrations with eCommerce, ERP, payment, shipping, and third-party platforms
- Collaborate with architects, developers, QA, and project managers for successful product releases
