United seeks a Director to lead our engagement in the Midcontinent Independent System Operator (MISO) and Southwest Power Pool (SPP) stakeholder processes. This role involves setting strategies, following developments in the stakeholder process, building relationships with RTO staff and other stakeholders, and advocating for reforms to remove barriers and expand opportunities for advanced energy technologies to compete in these markets.
Requirements
- Track developments across stakeholder groups in MISO and SPP
- Work with United member companies to develop and reach consensus on policy positions on key issues
- Develop and file written comments and provide oral comments in stakeholder meetings on key issues
- Work with United’s FERC leads to support comments and protests at FERC on issues related to MISO/SPP
- Manage/mentor/develop Associates, Principals and Senior Principals
