In late 2020, Sarah White recognized a fundamental problem in the HR technology landscape: too many businesses were making purchasing decisions based on vendor noise rather than genuine insight. As an experienced HR technology analyst, she saw that HR professionals, companies, and consultants lacked free access to unbiased, actionable information about work technology. Rather than accept this status quo, she launched Aspect43 to democratize access to market intelligence in the HR Tech, Worktech, TATech, and Employee Tech spaces.

Aspect43 was designed to operate differently from traditional analyst firms. The company structured itself around three core divisions: research, strategy, and membership. Their research team conducted surveys, focus groups, and market studies to identify real trends and insights. The strategy division supported enterprise technology companies, high-growth startups, media outlets, events, and investors globally. The membership collective provided ongoing community and resources for HR professionals seeking to understand the 'why' and 'how' of work technology, not just vendor recommendations.

The company built a fully remote team that supported clients from around the world, pushing boundaries to improve work alongside technology companies that shared their vision. In January 2025, Aspect43 was acquired by Jumpstart HR, integrating its respected HR tech analyst engine and Insights@Work benchmark series into the larger firm. Sarah White exited as CEO at that time, while key team members like Tami Nutt continued under new leadership to carry forward the mission of cutting through vendor noise and delivering trusted market intelligence.
