About the Organization
The organizations Impact Consulting division focuses on institutional giving and works with corporations and foundations to deliver maximum social impact. Supported by technology and anchored in impact, the team enables the entire grant-making lifecycle for more than 50 Indian and global clients.
Offerings include:
Consulting services for partner identification, monitoring, evaluation, impact reporting, compliance, and impact assessment
Acting as an end-to-end extended CSR team for corporate clients
Program Management Units (PMUs) for large, strategic impact-focused initiatives
A comprehensive SaaS platform for grant management, monitoring & evaluation, and compliance
About the Role
The Impact Consulting division works primarily with large India-focused grantmakers, including CSR teams, corporate foundations, and philanthropic foundations.The division has rapidly grown to become a leading contributor within the development sector, particularly within the CSR ecosystem. The team advises clients with annual grant budgets ranging from INR 5 crore to INR 800 crore and regularly produces sector insights and research that are widely referenced in the ecosystem.
The team comprises professionals from the development sector, business world, and consulting backgrounds.
The organization is now looking for leaders who can drive the next phase of growth, which will involve:
Building deeper domain expertise
Designing and managing programs that deliver sustained impact
Strengthening long-term partnerships with grantmakers
Enabling private giving to contribute meaningfully to nation-building
As a Partner – Impact Consulting, you will be part of the leadership team. In this entrepreneurial role, you will contribute to strategy, client development, delivery of high-quality engagements, and team building. You will also play a key role in positioning the organization as a thought leader in the social impact ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development
Initiate and build relationships with potential clients
Drive growth within existing partnerships and engagements
Solution Design
Engage with grantmakers to identify challenges and opportunities
Develop effective solutions and take them to market
Engagement Delivery
- Take ownership of high-quality delivery across engagements, including strategy development, program management, and operational support
People Leadership
Hire, train, and build strong teams
Foster a culture aligned with the organizations values
Thought Leadership
Contribute to research, convenings, and ecosystem discussions
Represent the organization publicly in sector conversations
Strategic Leadership
- Actively contribute to shaping the long-term strategy and growth of the Impact Consulting division
Profile
- 15–25 years of work experience with a strong academic and professional track record
- Demonstrated success in owning revenue growth, margins, and people leadership responsibilities
- Ability to initiate relationships with senior executives at large corporations and institutions and drive consultative engagements
- Experience at tier-1 consulting firms, large corporations, or leading development sector organizations will be a strong advantage
- CSR leadership experience is highly relevant
- Domain expertise in education, health, livelihoods, or sustainability would be a strong positive
- Comfort working in a hands-on, fast-paced, high-growth environment
- Willingness to travel frequently, often at short notice
