The impact

You will be playing a critical role by building our IT strategies that directly impact our tooling systems and stakeholder support. You’ll have the responsibility of maintaining and optimizing systems (technology and associated processes) that support internal business operations which includes email, intranet and internal document sites, office applications and various office networks. You will also manage company-issued and BYOD hardware for employees, and employee onboarding and offboarding.

The problems you’ll solve

You’ll have the opportunity to help shape various Amperon’s IT strategies that have a direct impact on the success of the business. Some of the problems you'll solve include:

  • Align IT goals with the overall business objectives and develop strategic plans for IT initiatives.
  • Lead IT projects from inception through completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget.
  • Maintain and optimize the organization's IT infrastructure, including hardware, software, networks, and data centers.
  • Coordinate with other departments and stakeholders to understand their needs and provide IT solutions.
  • Identify potential risks within IT systems and develop mitigation strategies.

You may be a fit for this role if

You have 5 plus years experience in an IT role with proven experience skills planning, executing, and overseeing IT projects from inception to completion. You have strong communication skills required to coordinate with various departments to understand their IT needs and provide tailored solutions. Strong technical acumen that allows for high-level technical support and guidance to end-users and IT staff.

Bonus

  • You have experience building and managing IT request service desk portals.
  • Previous experience onboarding employees and provisioning and managing technology for a globally distributed workforce.
