JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Microsoft .NET Programmer isresponsible for providing technical expertise supporting the pet food manufacturing processes through all phases of project development and execution. The primary focus of this position will be visual basic / C# programming, SQL data base management supporting the Production, Quality Assurance, and Accounting Departments. Longer term, this position will be responsible for the development, implementation and support on process control automation projects including human-man-interface (HMI) development, and ERP system customization. This is a great opportunity for someone to work on a wide range of projects throughout the entire corporation.

ESSENTIAL TASKS:

• Develops and implements new VB.net, C#, and Android programs
• SQL data base management
• Assist the engineering department in automation projects - HMI programming and process control)

SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS - Required:

• Candidates must be authorized to work in the US without sponsorship
• Full stack developer
• Experience in the following
  • VB.net or C# programming and development
  • SQL database
  • ASP.NET
• Have desire and be prepared to grow quickly in very dynamic environment
• Able to convert initial concepts and desired outcomes into final product in timely and efficient manner
• Desire to expand skills into process control automation
• Available to travel 5% - 15% to plants
• Team player

SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS - Desirable:

• Working knowledge of the following:
  • Crystal Reports
  • XML and XSLT
  • Android Studio

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

• Will need to support a schedule-driven 24 hour / 7 days a week environment with a strong customer service orientation
