About Age of Learning
We are Age of Learning, the creators of ABCmouse Early Learning Academy, and we're on a mission to help children everywhere build a strong foundation for academic success and a lifelong love of learning. Our journey began in 2007 when our founder, Doug Dohring, envisioned a comprehensive, engaging, and expert-designed digital curriculum. After nearly four years of development and testing with over 10,000 families, we launched ABCmouse.com Early Learning Academy in 2010. It quickly became a leading digital learning resource for children ages 2-8, offering a research-validated curriculum.
We believe in blending educational best practices, innovative technology, and insightful creativity to bring learning to life. Our team is made up of nationally renowned educators, curriculum experts, designers, animators, engineers, and more, all passionate about improving education. We've since expanded our offerings to include Adventure Academy, an educational massively multiplayer online game (MMO) for elementary and middle school students, and My Math Academy and My Reading Academy, which are adaptive, personalized school solutions. My Reading Academy Español was also launched to support biliteracy instruction. We're proud to have served over 50 million children worldwide, with over 11 billion learning activities completed on our platforms. Our commitment extends beyond our products; through the Age of Learning Foundation, we provide our educational resources at no cost to millions of children in need through schools, libraries, Head Start programs, and community centers. We're constantly innovating and looking for passionate individuals to join us in reshaping the future of education.
