Job Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Commercial Insurance CSR to support day-to-day policy servicing, client communication, claims coordination, and agency management operations for commercial lines insurance accounts. This role is ideal for someone with prior experience working in the insurance industry, particularly in commercial lines servicing and customer support.
The ideal candidate has hands-on experience processing policy changes, endorsements, certificates, renewals, and claims follow-ups while maintaining excellent communication with clients and internal stakeholders. Familiarity with agency management systems such as Applied Epic or HawkSoft is highly preferred.
Requirements:
Previous experience in the insurance industry as a Commercial Insurance CSR or related role
Hands-on experience processing endorsements, renewals, cancellations, policy changes, and COIs
Experience handling commercial lines insurance accounts
Strong understanding of insurance documentation and servicing workflows
Experience using agency management systems such as Applied Epic, HawkSoft, or similar platforms
Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Comfortable handling client inquiries regarding coverage, billing, claims, and policy servicing
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and related administrative tools
Ability to work independently in a remote environment
Reliable internet connection and professional remote work setup
Preferences:
Experience supporting U.S.-based insurance agencies or brokerages
Familiarity with commercial insurance policies and renewals
Background in claims support and client account management
Experience identifying coverage gaps and upselling opportunities
Knowledge of policy documentation, evidence of insurance, and auto ID card issuance
Strong customer service and phone support experience
Experience working in remote insurance support environments
Responsibilities:
Process endorsements, policy changes, cancellations, and renewals accurately and efficiently
Issue Certificates of Insurance (COIs), auto ID cards, and evidence of insurance documentation
Maintain accurate policy records and documentation within agency management systems
Client Support
Handle incoming client inquiries regarding coverage, billing, claims, and policy questions via phone and email
Provide professional and timely customer support while ensuring a positive client experience
Follow up with clients regarding pending documentation, renewals, and policy updates
Assist clients with reporting new claims and follow up on existing claim statuses
Coordinate with carriers, internal teams, and clients regarding claims documentation and updates
Maintain accurate records of claims-related communication and activity
Maintain accurate client data and policy documentation within Applied Epic, HawkSoft, or similar systems
Ensure all records, communications, and servicing activities are properly documented
Support account management and operational workflows as needed
Review renewals and existing client accounts to identify coverage concerns or upselling opportunities
Assist with policy reviews and account servicing tasks to support retention and client satisfaction
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth servicing and operational efficiency

Successful candidates for this role will be rewarded with the following benefits:
A total of five paid vacation days per year (additional days can be taken unpaid).
A 5% raise per year guaranteed (additional raises or bonuses may be given for outstanding performance).
A paid 15-minute break for every 4 hours of work.
* Vacation days increase by 1 vacation day per year. I.e. after one year of employment, the total paid vacation days on year 2 would be six, on year 3 seven, etc.
