JOB TITLE : CSS Product Owner

Department : Product Management

REPORTING LINE(S) : Product Manager CSS

LOCATION: Chennai

MISSION

As the Product Owner for the Cost & Sustainability Solution (CSS), you will be responsible for leading the product development process from conception to launch. You will work closely with cross-functional teams including software engineers, designers, and stakeholders to define product requirements, prioritize features, and ensure timely delivery of high-quality solutions.

TASKS & RESPONSABILITIES

  • Collaborate with stakeholders (Product manager, internal and external customers) to gather and analyze requirements and translate them into clear user stories and product backlog items.
  • Create estimates of workload per requirement/feature and work with the product manager to prioritize requirements/features based on business value, customer feedback, and market trends, and thereby create a roadmap for product development.
  • Lead the development team to ensure the timely delivery of product increments, and facilitate sprint planning, review, and retrospective meetings.
  • Work closely with the support team to guarantee a complete and user-friendly documentation for the software solution.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for all product-related inquiries and communicate updates and progress to stakeholders.
  • Provide technical training to the Sales team and customers
  • Act as an advocate for the customer, ensuring that their needs and pain points are addressed effectively in the product.

PROFILE REQUIRED

Professional Background

  • Masters’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field.
  • Proven experience (2 years) working as a Product Owner or similar role, preferably in software development or technology-driven companies.

Skills & Abilities

  • Good English communication skills, able to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong understanding of agile methodologies, with experience working in Scrum or Kanban environments.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Solid analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail and a data-driven approach to decision-making.
  • Experience in Agile Software Development
  • (Preferred) Experience in cost or CO2 evaluations.
  • (Preferred) Familiarity with the automotive industry, especially product development cycles.
  • (Preferred) Experience with the .NET ecosystem and Azure cloud functionalities.
