As a DevOps Engineer at A2MAC1, you’ll play a crucial role in supporting our product development team in India and ensuring the smooth operations of our Global Cloud Infrastructure during Asian Business Hours.

Your responsibilities will span across innovation, development, deployment, and operations, bridging the gap between software development and system administration.

We are looking for a candidate with at least 2-3 years DevOps experience from a SAAS background who has a passion for continuously learning to stay ahead in the field of DevOps and Cloud.

This role sits within the Cloud Teaman d would be ideal for someone looking to progress to a Cloud Architect role.

TASKS & RESPONSABILITIES (detailed view of main duties and list of tasks in the role. Avoid a long list of bullet points and regroup tasks by main activities)

• Collaborate: Work closely with developers, testers, and system administrators to ensure the entire software development life cycle is smooth, efficient, and error-free.
• Continuous Integration and Deployment: Design, implement, and maintain tools and processes for continuous integration, delivery, and deployment of software.
• Technical Support: Investigate and resolve technical issues on the cloud estate.
• Root Cause Analysis: Perform root cause analysis for production errors, ensuring timely resolution.
• Tool Development: Build tools to improve customer experience and integrate with internal back-end systems.
• Cloud Champion: Evangelise new cloud technologies and best practices within the business.

PROFILE REQUIRED

Azure Devops (2-3 Years) :

• Azure Devops Software Development Management (Boards, Repos, Pipelines, TestPlans etc)

· Git

• IAC: Terraform Required. ARM /Bicep (Advantageous)

· Powershell or Bash Scripting

• Containerization and Orchestration : Docker , Kubernetes (Ideal)
• Windows or Linux Administration Skills
• Monitoring : App Insights, Azure Monitor, Dynatrace(Ideal)
• Database Administration Skills (Advantageous)

Microsoft Azure Experience (Advantageous)

• Optimize resource usage, manage costs, and ensure high availability.
• Understand Azure services, resource groups, and access controls.
• Deploy, monitor, and scale applications on Azure.
• Networking and Load Balancing: App GW, FrontDoor.
• Understand Azure App Services, containers, and serverless computing.
• Implement security measures for Azure resources, Identity management, and encryption.
• Azure security services such as Azure Firewall, DDoS Protection, and Network Security Groups.
