We are seeking an accomplished people leader and a highly skilled analyst to build Operations Data Analytics at 1Password. In the role of Manager, Operations Data Analytics, you will have the opportunity to build and guide a team of analysts who, collaborating closely with internal teams (e.g RevOps, Sales, Engineering, etc.)will influence and inform our go-to-market strategy, processes and execution. With your strategic thinking and ability to serve as an analytics thought partner to these teams, you will embed data in their decision making and drive efficient and effective Go-to-market and Customer Experience processes and practices.
You will play a pivotal role in charting our course for future growth while continuously growing as a dynamic analytics leader. We’re growing, and we are looking for someone passionate about joining a dynamic, global team of security, operations, and data professionals that value you for you.
This is a remote opportunity within Canada and the US.
What we're looking for:
- 1-3 years managing people and 5+ years in a Data Analytics role or related with a preference for experience in a technology/SaaS environment.
- Strong leadership skills combined with a hands-on approach and ability to guide a team through ambiguity: We are looking for someone who can effectively balance their time between actively participating in analytics projects, proactively identifying and addressing data issues, and nurturing the growth of their team's analytical and leadership capabilities.
- Compelling communication skills: You are a skilled communicator with a demonstrated ability to influence decisions through communicating technical concepts and complex data and insights to a variety of stakeholders in diverse settings.
- Versatile analytics skills: Demonstrated experience in various analytics areas domains with a proven ability to identify customer groups, calculate return on investment (ROI), conduct A/B testing, create insightful dashboards, and analyze customer satisfaction.
- Data infrastructure and modeling knowledge: A solid understanding of data infrastructure and data modeling principles is essential to ensure the accuracy and reliability of analytics processes.
- Proficiency in relevant tools and technologies: Expert-level skills in SQL, intermediate proficiency in Python (including libraries like NumPy, Pandas, and Matplotlib), familiarity with Python scripting for automation and data ingestion, and extensive experience with business intelligence tools (particularly Looker, but experience with Tableau, PowerBI, and others is welcome) are expected.
- Structured and guiding approach: You have experience guiding a team through the entire analytics lifecycle, defining success metrics, crafting analytics plans, and seeing projects through to completion.

- Drive the adoption of data-driven decision-making in Go-to-Market and customer experience teams. collaborating closely with teams across 1Password.
- Contribute to shaping our data governance and refining analytics tools at 1Password. We value your unique perspective.
- Lead by example, inspiring teams to become champions of data-driven approaches.
- Develop your skills as both a people leader and an analytics expert. This role entails regular collaboration with senior leadership, providing a valuable opportunity to learn from our experienced and supportive team.

- Manage the Operations Data Analytics staff, providing direction, support, and resources they need to perform and grow. Responsible for the development, engagement, and performance of the team.
USA-based roles only: The Annual base salary for this role is between $155,000 USD and $209,000 USD, plus immediate participation in 1Password's benefits program (health, dental, 401k and many others), utilization of our generous paid time off, an equity grant and, where applicable, participation in our incentive programs.
Canada-based roles only: The Annual base salary for this role is between $133,000 CAD and $155,000 CAD, plus immediate participation in 1Password’s generous benefits program (health, dental, RRSP and many others), utilization of our generous paid time off, an equity grant and, where applicable, participation in our incentive programs.
