Tax Consultant

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide tax planning and consulting services to clients, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations.
• Prepare and review individual, corporate, partnership, and trust tax returns.
• Research and analyze complex tax issues, and provide clear and concise written and verbal advice to clients.
• Develop and implement tax strategies to minimize tax liabilities and maximize financial benefits for clients.
• Stay current with tax law changes and communicate their impact to clients.
• Assist with tax audits and provide support during regulatory examinations.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor.
• Collaborate with other departments within the company to provide comprehensive financial solutions to clients.
• Train and mentor junior staff members on tax-related matters.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation or licensed Tax Attorney.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in tax consulting or public accounting.
• Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with tax software and Google Suite.
• High level of professionalism and ethical standards.
