Job Description:

We are seeking a talented and experienced AWS Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud computing, particularly with Amazon Web Services (AWS), and a passion for designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable and reliable cloud infrastructure solutions. As an AWS Engineer, you will play a crucial role in architecting and managing our cloud-based systems to support our organization's needs.

Responsibilities:

• Design, deploy, and maintain AWS infrastructure components such as EC2 instances, VPCs, S3 buckets, RDS databases, and Lambda functions.
• Implement and manage automated deployment pipelines using tools such as AWS CodePipeline, CodeBuild, and CodeDeploy.
• Monitor system performance and reliability, and implement solutions for optimization and scalability.
• Implement security best practices to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our cloud infrastructure.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and provide technical guidance on AWS-related initiatives.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to AWS infrastructure and applications.
• Stay updated on AWS services, features, and best practices, and recommend improvements or optimizations.
• Participate in on-call rotation and respond to incidents in a timely manner.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Proven experience as an AWS Engineer or similar role.
• Strong understanding of AWS services and architecture, including but not limited to EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, IAM, and VPC.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools such as AWS CloudFormation or Terraform.
• Knowledge of networking concepts, including TCP/IP, DNS, and routing.
• Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools such as CloudWatch, CloudTrail, and Elasticsearch.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• AWS certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified Developer, or AWS Certified SysOps Administrator.
• Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools such as CI/CD pipelines, version control systems, and configuration management tools.
