Bill Grant

I am a Mechanical Engineering graduate from Stellenbosch University, driven by a passion for innovation and problem-solving. With over 8 weeks of internship experience, I have developed a solid foundation in engineering principles and practical applications. My internships at Maverick Packaging and Obsidian One have equipped me with hands-on experience in design and engineering processes, particularly in converting 2D AutoCAD drawings to 3D assemblies using Siemens Solid Edge and Autodesk Inventor.

During my time at Maverick Packaging, I not only honed my technical skills but also learned about PLC programming and robotics simulation. I led a team project to design a 10:1 reduction gearbox, demonstrating my leadership and design capabilities. I am eager to continue learning and applying my knowledge in real-world scenarios, contributing to innovative projects that push the boundaries of engineering.
