At Rakuten, I built and customized ExoPlayer-based Live and VOD playback for an e-commerce app’s gallery and feed, with DASH/HLS streaming. I also tuned adaptive bitrate selection and addressed buffering and startup latency.

I’m modernizing Rakuten’s Android codebase with a Jetpack Compose migration and Redux/MVI state management. I also work on multi-module architecture and production reliability for an app serving tens of millions of users.

As Founder & Solo Developer of Deckbase, I built and shipped a cross-platform Flutter app, a Next.js web application, and its backend. I designed local-first storage and synchronization, and implemented features including FSRS spaced repetition and AI-powered tools.
