Senior Principal Software Engineer at Dell EMC who modernized Linux kernels for clustered storage products.

China

Message

At Dell EMC, I led DDOS OS and kernel work for clustered storage products, including kernel upgrades from 3.2 to 4.4 and customized SUSE Linux distributions.

I contributed to Data Domain Virtual Edition 2.0/3.0 and Cloud Edition as technical lead for the China virtual appliance team. For Data Domain physical appliances, I designed a generic hardware abstraction layer adopted across hardware platforms.

Earlier, I developed NetBackup features and ClientDirect backup and restore at Symantec, and was the primary developer for the Oracle RMAN backup agent in CA BrightStor ARCserve Backup at CA Technologies.
