Built a new data platform from scratch using Modern Data Stack and Data Mesh (Snowflake, dbt, Airflow) and decommissioned the legacy platform to complete migration.

Designed and implemented a distributed spatial indexing service (R-Tree, in-memory piecewise architecture) replacing PostgreSQL clusters, achieving 200K QPS peak with 50% lower resource usage and improved scalability.

Led >30 engineers across backend and frontend teams, migrated core systems from PHP to Java and upgraded test environments to Kubernetes/Docker, improving product quality and QA efficiency.

Managed 40+ engineers across two product lines (Photo Search, 1v1), reorganized teams across cities and led major search projects from requirements to production that materially improved search product capabilities.

Managed the Internationalization Division data team, rebuilt a BI system (Hadoop, Hive, job scheduling, reporting) to improve performance and reduce manual effort; developed high-availability Go-based log collection middleware.

Served as senior engineer and backend team lead responsible for BI and recommendation systems, delivering analytics and recommendation features for the platform.

Developed an algorithm library (K-means, KNN, PCA, Random Forest) in C++ to support data mining and analytics products.

Developed and maintained the CRM system using Perl to support customer relationship operations.
